Who we are

Amanda has been working in the audiovisual sector for over a decade. Her films and series have won more than 30 awards at festivals around the world, including LAWebFest, Gramado Film Festival and Brasilia Film Festival. As a producer and recently as a creator, she has already been selected for several international programs, such as WAWA-Lifetime Mentoring Program (2022), Bajo Guion International Writers Residency (2021), Campus DocsBarcelona (2021), WCSFP's Emerging Producers (2020) and COLAB PerfomAção (2019). Since 2019, she has attended international markets, such as NATPE, Kidscreen, Rio2C, MIFA, Pixelalt, MIPs and Ventana Sur. Enthusiastic about mixing different artistic languages (literature, dance and visual arts, for instance), she created AKWA CREATIVE LAB, her second production company. Her aim is to develop transmedia and interactive narratives, creating international IPs for children and female audiences. She is currently debuting as a director in 'Lírio', a 2D animated series co-produced with Chile. Also, as an author, she has built the high fantasy world 'Ashänkya' and developed her short films trilogy 'The Three Colors of Water' - 'Metamorfosis', 'Syncopa' and 'Empire'. Each short film has its own art installation. 'Metamorfosis' inspired her first visual art series 'ROJO, el rito de transformación ancestral' (in post-production). Since 2022, she has worked in the Latin American market, based in Brasilia, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.​​​​​​​
